Sharon is a results-driven finance and accounting professional with over 20 years of experience in the fields of financial analysis/budgeting/forecasting/reporting, and revenue recognition for the software, hardware, services, cloud, and consumer products industries. As a people manager for the majority of her career, Sharon invested heavily in building and mentoring teams of finance and accounting professionals at various companies from start-ups to Fortune 100 companies, such as Oracle Corporation, and BEA Systems, Inc.
Sharon’s passion for the finance discipline extended to her community where she was treasurer for several years for her local homeowner’s association, the superintendent of the Menlo Park City School District Council, and is currently on a local Austin board, Young Men’s Service League, as the assistant treasurer. She holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from James Madison University, and a Masters in Finance from the Krannert Graduate School of Management at Purdue University.
She is a mother of 2 boys and enjoys golf, the beach, group fitness at her local gym, and being involved in her boys’ various activities and sports. Sharon and her boys regularly volunteer at various local Austin organizations such as Central Texas Food Bank, Keep Austin Beautiful, Reveal Ministries food distribution, and Down-Home Ranch, through the Young Men’s Service League.
